It was a great victory. I'm a champion with the belt or without. It doesn't matter. That’s just how it is,” said the Australian in a press conference after the show.

Current number one in the middleweight rankings, Whittaker stated that he will not choose opponents for his next commitment. The former champion said that he will face any opponent that the UFC offers, regardless of whether it is a title fight or not.

“I don’t care (who I fight). That's why the UFC loves me so much. They climb me and I knock them out. Eventually you will have to face everyone. Honestly, my biggest focus right now is going home,” Robert said.
