Next rematch against Rose namajunas, Jessica Andrade, 'Bate-Estaca' is ready for this Saturday's appointment (11), at UFC 251, in Abu Dhabi. With a great victory in the first meeting, in August last year, anyone who thinks that the Brazilian is looking for an itinerary similar to the 2019 meeting is mistaken. In a press conference for 'Media Day', held on the morning of this Wednesday (8), with the participation of SUPER FIGHTS, the woman from Paraná spoke about the fight.

“Rose thinks she knows me, so this required me to change things up a bit. I've been working a lot on my movements. I'm not going to stand there and let her punch me. I think this is what will make the difference”, said the Brazilian.

When they faced each other for the first time, Andrade entered the octagon, in Rio de Janeiro, as an 'underdog' and with the obligation to overcome a rival who had been undefeated for four fights. In the confrontation, the Brazilian shocked the world by delivering a hard knockout to her rival in the second round, winning the category title.

Jéssica lost the title in her first defense, when she agreed to go to China and face Weili Zhang, in September last year. The defeat, however, did not take away the Brazilian's credibility in the UFC. The woman from Paraná remains number one in the ranking, followed by Namajunas, in second.
