The North American Ronda Rousey will defend the Strikeforce women's bantamweight belt next Saturday (18) against Sarah Kaufman. But due to the former judoka's impressive rise in MMA, there is already speculation about a possible duel against the Brazilian Chris Cyborg, who despite being suspended for doping, is considered the greatest athlete in the sport.

However, a duel between Cyborg and Ronda would only be possible at a combined weight, as according to the Brazilian, who works in the featherweight category, she cannot reach the weight limit for the bantamweight division.
“I really want to fight Ronda. She says bad things about me. I never say bad things about my opponents. I want to do my best in the cage, and if she says she wants to fight me, she can come to my category or in a combined weight of up to 63,5kg”, said Cyborg, in an interview with the North American website MMA fighting.
The Brazilian Cyborg remembers that the American has already performed in her featherweight category and that she could return to her original division to face her.
“Ronda started in the featherweight division, but she's running out of fights with me and then she said a lot of rubbish about me. I want to fight Ronda soon. I'm very excited for this fight. And when we're in the cage, let's see if she says anything. And if she says so, I might punch her”, concluded the Brazilian.
Despite the high expectations for the fight, the duel between Cyborg and Ronda should only take place in 2013, as the Brazilian is suspended from performing in the United States until December of this year. At the time, Cris was caught in an anti-doping test carried out after her fight against Hiroko yamanaka, December. Still as part of the penalty, Strikeforce took away the Brazilian's belt, won in August 2009 by defeating then-champion Gina Carano.
