Even after resuming its calendar and returning to holding events during the pandemic, Ultimate decided to cancel two of its events that would take place in June. The cards in question would take place on the 20th and 27th of next month, in Saskatoon (CAN), and Austin (in Texas, USA). The information was released by the UFC.

After suspending their activities for almost two months, the Ultimate entourage found in Florida (USA) a possibility to resume their fights and return to entertainment behind closed doors to the public. In Jacksonville, the organization promoted three shows in one week, including the UFC 249, which featured two title fights.
Now, the company's management is studying other places to take its athletes, since in several North American states, restrictions due to the coronavirus pandemic remain strict. It is also not possible to hold clashes with athletes who do not reside in the United States. Therefore, the only option would be 'Ilha da Luta', which has been prepared to receive foreigners.
While the Island is not finalized, the UFC must take its cards to its headquarters in Las Vegas, precisely at the UFC Apex, which hosts the 'Dana White's Contender Series' clashes.
Many of the fights that were affected due to the pandemic have been relocated to other locations and dates, according to the travel possibilities of the athletes involved.
