the american Urijah faber entered the octagon in UFC 149, an event held in the early hours of this Saturday (21), in Calgary, Canada, in an attempt to win the organization's coveted belt. But after being dominated for 25 minutes by the Brazilian, Renan Barao, the “California Kid”, as he is known, was overcome in the unanimous decision of the judges and will have a bitter memory of the event.

After suffering a knee from Barão at the beginning of the fight, Faber fractured his rib. Even so, the American used his Twitter account to congratulate Renan and show the x-ray of his injury.
“Congratulations to Renan Barao. He's tough, man. He broke my rib in the first round with a big knee. Thank you everyone for your support”, wrote Faber on the microblog.

Urijah Faber is truly a great fighter, even after suffering this fracture, he still resisted for more rounds, thanks to the excellent work of our Renan Barão. And he still maintained his humility and demonstration of respect. Congratulations to Renan and strength to Urijah in his recovery.
