The UFC's lightweight division (up to 70.3 kg.) gained a new star after the UFC 249, held last Saturday (09). Justin gaethje derrotou Tony Ferguson and won the division's interim belt. But it was another star in the category who caught attention on social media: Conor McGregor. The Irishman fired attacks against Khabib Nurmagomedov, Dustin poirier, in addition to the protagonists of last week's event.

Through his Twitter account, McGregor began attacking Justin gaethje and old rival Khabib: “The fans make this sport! Watching it last night, I was against fighting without them. But it will be a pleasure to demonstrate the power I have with zero background noise for them. It's me and Justin next, because Khabib is the most cowardly fighter in the business. I guarantee it,” wrote McGregor, who challenged the American and was dismissive of Justin’s possible confrontation with Nurmagomedov.

Conor didn't stop strafing division rivals and turned his target to Tony Ferguson, surpassed by Gaethje, last Saturday: “I love Tony. We represented him very well at Paradigm Sports and were betrayed by the promise of a baseball contract. But the head and preparation here were shameful. Even left for Dustin Poirier
The Irishman then decided to play matchmaker – responsible for scheduling UFC fights. For him, Ferguson's return must be against Dustin poirier, former interim champion of the category.
