Cristiano Marcello is another Brazilian confirmed at UFC Rio 3

The card for the third edition of the UFC in Rio de Janeiro is taking shape. This Thursday (19) two fights were announced that will be part of the fight program for the 153rd edition of the event. In addition to José Aldo, who will defend the featherweight belt against Erik Erik Koch, another Tupiniquim athlete is confirmed for the event, which takes place on October 13th, at the HSBC Arena, in the capital of Rio de Janeiro.

Black belt Cristiano Marcello, who participated in the 15th edition of the American TUF, faces Swedish Reza Madadi, in a fight that should be part of the preliminary card of the show.

Cristiano, who for years was the jiu-jitsu coach on the Chute Boxe team, has a record of 12 wins and four losses. In his only appearance in the UFC, the man from Paraná was knocked out by the North American Sam Sicilia at the TUF 15 Finale.
