McGregor, who was absent from Ultimate for just over a year, made his return to MMA in January this year. On that occasion, the athlete headed the UFC 246 and put on a real spectacle for the spectators when he knocked out Donald Cerrone less than a minute.

Almost four months later, Dana says that the Irishman is still in shape and could be one of the big names to play on the now famous 'Ilha da Luta'. The space is being designed to receive athletes who do not reside in the United States and once again promote major clashes.

“Conor has been ready to fight for some time. He is in shape and ready to fight. First of all, 'Ilha da Luta' is going to be very important for any of these fights that are going to happen with people from outside the country,” he concluded.

Without holding a card since the Brasília event, which took place in March, Ultimate resumes its activities this Saturday (9), when it promotes the UFC 249, in Florida (USA). The show will be the kickoff for the company that chose to continue with the calendar even during the coronavirus pandemic.
