Bad news for the athletes who intended to perform on the UFC Lincoln and UFC Oklahoma cards, which would take place on April 25th and May 2nd, respectively. Due to the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), Ultimate chose to officially cancel the shows and remove them from its official calendar. The company, however, maintains the card that would represent the UFC 250, on May 9, however, São Paulo will no longer be the destination. The announcement was made on the company's official website.

In the notes issued, the company guaranteed full refunds to all spectators who purchased tickets to watch both the fights on April 25th and May 2nd.
Regarding the São Paulo card, Ultimate accepted a request from the state government, which needed the Ibirapuera Gymnasium, the space that would host the show, to set up a hospital base to receive victims of the coronavirus.
The May 16 show, which would take place in San Diego, also underwent changes. Although it has not been officially cancelled, the event will leave the initial municipality in compliance with the preventive measures adopted by the state of California (USA), which prohibits the holding of public events during the pandemic period.
At the beginning of last week, the North American website, 'MMA Fighting', reported that Dana White and his team plan to resume their activities on May 9, in an undefined location. The company is currently working on adapting a private island to host fighting events and one of the ideas is that the fights can be taken to the location. The news, however, remains unconfirmed by Ultimate.
