the Nigerian Israel adesanya and the Cuban Yoel romero disappointed the public who were waiting for the main fight of the UFC 248, held last Saturday (07), in Las Vegas (USA). However, despite the low performance, the athletes could not complain about the show, after all they left the event with the highest salaries in the attraction.

The Nevada Athletic Commission, the public entity that sanctioned the event in Las Vegas, disclosed the scholarships paid to athletes who participated in the event. UFC 248 and Adesanya got the biggest purse. The middleweight champion (up to 83.9 kg.) pocketed US$ 500 thousand, around R$ 2.32 million at current prices. Romero, defeated by the Nigerian, won US$350 (R$1.6 million).
On the other hand, in the other title fight of the night, the Chinese Zhang Weili and the Polish Joanna Jedrzejczyk they had the best fight in the UFC 248 for the strawweight title. However, women's income was more modest. Zhang earned US$200 (R$930), with US$100 as a bonus for winning and Joanna took home US$106 (R$493).
Among Brazilians in UFC 248, Alex Cowboy had the highest payout. The fighter took to Três Rios, in the interior of Rio de Janeiro, US$ 128 thousand (R$ 595.2 thousand), with US$ 64 million as a bonus for the victory against Max griffin. Already Rudolph Vieira, which ended Saparbek Safarov, pocketed US$28 thousand (R$130.2 thousand), including US$14 thousand in bonuses.
