“I didn't see Megan (Anderson) fight, but I heard she did really well. I think I put myself in a great position to fight (for the belt). So I think we just need to talk to the UFC about it,” said Felicia.

Spencer was hired by Ultimate as a promise to complete the group of athletes who work between feathers. The athlete, who has an Invicta FC belt on her resume, debuted for the organization in May last year, when she defeated Anderson herself in one of the UFCRochester fights. On that occasion, the Canadian submitted the Australian in the first round.

After her winning debut, Felicia was chosen for the biggest challenge of her career – so far. The combatant was committed to facing Chris Cyborg in the last fight of the Curitiba native's contract for the organization. Spencer ended up being another victim of the Brazilian and ended up beaten by the judges' unanimous decision in a fight that took place in July last year.
