Ronaldo Jacaré returns to Strikeforce in August

The Brazilian Ronaldo Jacare He already has a date and opponent set for his return to Strikeforce. The Tupiniquim black belt faces the North American Derek Brunson on August 18th in San Diego, California.

The fight between Jacaré and Brunson should have taken place in March, but the American was banned by the Athletic Commission due to an eye problem. As a result, Strikeforce called up Bristol Marunde, who ended up submitting by the Brazilian.

Jacaré, who has an MMA record of 15 wins and three losses, is looking for a new chance to challenge for the Strikefoce middleweight belt, a title he lost to the current champion, Luke Rockhold, in September 2011.
