It didn't take long for Henry Cejudo manifest itself after the victory of Deiveson Figueiredo about Joseph Benavidez in the main fight of UFC Norfolk, which took place this Saturday (29), in the United States. Punished for failing to make the weight cut for the dispute, the Brazilian was informed that he would not take the belt if he triumphed over the North American. The man from Pará beat his rival and the result meant that the category continued without a number one. On his 'Twitter' account, 'Triplo C' made fun of the situation.

“The gold is all mine,” wrote Cejudo, adding hashtag 'still champion', in the caption for an image in which he appears along with his two titles (flyweight and bantamweight).
The fight between Deiveson and Benavidez represented the first title fight in the category since Henry was dethroned in December last year. Champion in two divisions, the North American felt more comfortable in continuing his journey in Ultimate representing the bantamweight category (up to 61,2kg). This way, he would not need to be subjected to intense weight cuts.
The Brazilian and Joseph, at the time, had a vacant title, but Figueiredo's failure meant that only the North American had the possibility of becoming champion this weekend.
Ultimate has not yet commented on the direction the division will take following the result. The category, which was already at risk of becoming extinct a few years ago, could be threatened again, as, at the moment, there are no candidates to occupy the number one position.
As he celebrates 'maintaining his reign', Cejudo prepares for his first title defense. The athlete has a fight scheduled against José Aldo in the main fight of UFC 250, which takes place on May 9, in São Paulo.
