Marcos Vina entered TUF Brasil as one of the candidates for the UFC reality show title. But after the elimination in the semi-final for Geoffrey Pepey, the athlete from Paraná got a chance to fight on the UFC 147 preliminary card and he didn't disappoint.
Vina, who is a former motorcycle courier, won the award for best knockout of the night in his victory over Wagner Galeto and you already know how to invest the money. The featherweight, who received an extra prize of US$65 (around R$133) says he will compare his home with the bonus.
“Fighting against your own countryman is already a very difficult factor because you know how difficult it is to be in battle too. But I made an oath when I left my house to fight in BH: I came to do my best and God honored me, blessed me and I even won the night's prize. I didn’t imagine, but I can already say, my house is bought”, he revealed. Vina, quite emotional.
The fighter also said that he stopped being a motorcycle courier to join TUF Brasil and does not regret his choice. “Before coming to the UFC I made an oath that I would stop working on a motorcycle so as not to lose my opportunity to enter the biggest event in the world. If I had an accident, fell off my motorcycle, I could lose it”, said the former motorcycle courier.
