The Brazilian Renato Moicano is reaching the final stretch of preparation for its challenge in UFC Brasilia, which takes place on March 14, in the Federal District. The athlete will make his debut in the lightweight division (up to 70,3kg) against Damir Hadzović and hopes to get back on the winning path. Focused on the triumph, Moicano analyzed his rival's characteristics and, in an interview with 'MMA Fighting', spoke about his expectations for the fight.

With just over two weeks left until the clash, Moicano states that his team has already drawn up a strategy so that the Brazilian is not surprised by his rival in front of his own fans. A setback could complicate the athlete's situation within Ultimate.
“We have to focus on our technique, but pay attention to his physical attributes. He's strong, he's tough, but technique will make the difference. He's no fool on the ground, he's fought tough opponents like Marcin Held and won by knockout after going to the ground, but that's not his main weapon. He knows the basics to be able to get up again, but my game on the ground is definitely a good strategy to defeat him”, he concluded.
No UFC Brasilia, Renato will complete his 18th fight as a professional in MMA. The fighter, who is coming off two consecutive setbacks, has 13 wins, three losses and one draw on his record.
