Considered the greatest heavyweight in history, Fedor Emelianenko said goodbye to MMA in style. The Russian knocked out Brazilian Pedro Rizzo at M-1 Global, an event held this Friday, in St. Petersburg, Russia.
Just over a minute into the fight, Fedor landed a combination of punches, which led to the Brazilian being knocked down. Without wasting time, the “Last Emperor”, as Emelianenko is known, started the sequence of blows to the ground that led the referee to end the dispute.
After the triumph, 35-year-old Fedor announced in the presence of his entire family in the ring that he was leaving the sport and announced his retirement.
