“It was great to have Amanda fight for five rounds (at UFC 245, on December 14). She is devastating, she resolves most fights in an aggressive, intelligent and quick way, but this time, she also proved that she is physically prepared for any type of fight that happens,” she said.

Everton participates in training Amanda nunes since 2014 and is one of the main responsible for the Brazilian's success. Owner of two belts for the company (cock and feather), the athlete shares with the Brazilian the merit of being at the top of the organization.

The Curitiba native also celebrated the recent achievement of Natan schulte. Last year, the fighter became two-time champion of the PFL (Professional Fighters League) lightweight GP and won the millionaire prize (US$1 million) offered by the company to the champion.

“Natan is an incredible fighter, who works and dedicates himself a lot in training, and it is no coincidence that he has made history in the PFL. The work I do with him fills me with pride because, in his recent competitions, he twice had two fights on the same night, which requires excellent physical conditioning. On both occasions, we emerged victorious”, said the trainer.

In addition to the champions, Oliveira maintains his trust in one UFC athlete in particular. The professional is responsible for taking care of the preparation of Thiago Marreta, who challenged for the light heavyweight belt (up to 93kg.) for Ultimate in 2019 and promoted the toughest fight of his career Jon Jones, until now.

“We are very proud of what (Thiago) Marreta presented to the world in the fight against Jon Jones. It was a surprise for many, but not for those who live with him. We had complete confidence that it was possible for him to dethrone the champion, but it wasn't possible this time. We hope he gets another chance at the title in 2020, just like the Marlon moraes”, declared Everton, who recently started working with the 'Magician', former challenger for the bantamweight title (up to 61,2kg.).

Finally, the trainer stated that ATT is coming strong for the new season. With big names in its 'squad', the academy wants more titles to maintain tradition within the sport.

“The American Top Team is the biggest MMA team in the world, it has a very strong team of athletes, and every year we have many challenges in store for us. I am very excited about everything that is to come in 2020, and I am sure that at the end of the season the result will be excellent again”, he concluded.
