“That's it for me. I prepared my entire career for this fight. So, I'm very excited. The first fight that was offered to me, before I even did MMA, was Chris Cyborg, so I've had my eye on her my entire career. She is an explosive striker, has been a dominant champion in the UFC and Strikeforce. But I believe in my abilities, in the fact that she is good in all areas, in my prowess in mixed martial arts. I believe I have the necessary tools to beat it”, said the Canadian.

Anyone who thinks that Cyborg will have an easy commitment against Budd is wrong. The Canadian, who has held the Bellator title since 2017, has not lost in over eight years. The last time the Canadian was defeated was in 2011, when she was submitted by Ronda Rousey, still on 'Strikeforce'

Since then, there have been 11 fights and no setbacks. The meeting with Cris will mark Julia's fourth title defense, who last performed in July 2019, when she defeated Olga Rubin by knockout in the opening minutes of the first round.

Cyborg arrives at Bellator coming off a victory. Although he left Ultimate without the organization's belt, lost to Amanda nunes in December 2018, the Curitiba native left a good impression in her last performance, when she defeated the former Invicta FC champion, Felicia spencer, at UFC 240, in July.

While the Curitiba native has 24 fights as a professional in MMA (21 wins, two losses and one unsuccessful fight), the Canadian has 15 appearances, with 13 triumphs and two setbacks.
