“You know, I always liked to challenge myself. I think it's a great thing to have signed with Bellator. It's something I could be capable of doing, boxing, I could do WWE, pro wrestling, anything. And Scott (Coker) with me, behind (supporting). (It) will help promote Bellator. That's the good thing. I love challenges and, if these opportunities arise for me, I’m in,” confessed the Brazilian.

Cyborg signed a contract with Bellator after failing to renew his contract with the UFC. Among the reasons that made it difficult for the Curitiba native to remain in the old company was her bad relationship with the president of Ultimate, Dana White. From her 'new home', Cris states that she has a lot of freedom and feels welcomed.

“I think he (Skott Coker) opened up a lot of things in my career. When I fought Gina Carano, it opened the doors for women's MMA, and I think all the girls, most of them, at 66 pounds are in Bellator now. They wait for me there, and I am very happy. I won't have any problems waiting to fight. And working with a boss who wants to work with you is great. I think it’s great when they promote fighters”, he concluded.

Julia, who has been Bellator's champion since 2017, will be defending her fourth title and hopes to shock the world when she faces Cris.
