Looking serene, Conor did not remotely resemble the figure who became known throughout the world for his provocative and provocative style. On the contrary. Calm and measured, the Irishman made a point of greeting Donald with a handshake.

Without raising his voice or offending his rival, McGregor, however, continued to show his usual confidence. The athlete confirmed that he was in the best phase of his career and, when asked about how he saw the end of the fight, the 'Notório' didn't hesitate.

“I'm going for the knockout”, he said.

McGregor also confirmed his ambitious plans for 2020. According to the Irishman, in addition to his desire to win again in Ultimate – something that hasn't happened since 2016 -, the fighter stated that he would like to compete for the welterweight title (up to 77kg.) and stated that he wanted to play for the 'Mais Casca-Grossa' belt, which belongs to Jorge masvidal.

“I’m interested in both. I would like to fight first for the 'Mais Thick' belt, and then I would go for the real title”, said Conor, who concluded by telling how he feels working again at welterweight: “I'm enjoying myself in this division. I'm underweight right now. I feel good. Powerful, light, fast, accurate and precise. I feel good here,” he said.

While Conor was drawing up plans and not provoking his opponent, Donald was all smiles and, for more than a moment, thanked the Irishman for the opportunity to compete. According to the American, facing the 'Notório' was an old wish, which will come true this weekend.

“The guy (McGregor) changed the sport. I take my hat off to him,” said Donald, literally removing his headdress.
