The fighters' defensive instincts impress a large part of the public. During ONE FC 106, held in Thailand, a Chinese fighter was about to be knocked out and, even so, he attacked his leg in search of an unlikely comeback. The problem is that he tried to submit the central referee with a dangerous heel hook.

In the fight, valid for the featherweight division, the Mongolian Shinechagtga Zoltsetseg landed a right bomb and sent Ma Jia Wen to the canvas. The Chinese player was almost knocked out and received hard blows on the ground. However, showing an incredible survival instinct, he grabbed central referee Olivier Coste's leg and almost landed a heel hook (see video below).
The French mediator was in trouble with the Chinese attack and showed desperation to get out of position. However, luckily for him, the medical team entered the ring to prevent the central referee from actually being submitted and suffering a more serious injury. Watch the moment in the player below:
