O UFC Brasilia is only scheduled for March 2020, but the show's first casualty happened in 2019. The North American Brad Tavares suffered an injury in training and left the dispute against the Brazilian Antonio Shoe Guy. The information was released on the Combate channel website.

According to the report, Tavares is suspected of having a serious injury: the rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament and should be away from the octagons for a long period.
Despite the injury to Brad Tavares, Ultimate is interested in maintaining Shoe Face in the attraction in Tupiniquins lands. However, no other opponent for the Brazilian black belt was announced.
UFC Brasilia
