Brazil puts on a show at Sengoku

The third edition of Sengoku took place early this Sunday morning, in Saitama, Japan. In the main fight of the night, Japanese Olympic judo champion Hidehiko Yoshida recovered from a series of three consecutive defeats in MMA and submitted the experienced Maurice Smith in the first round.

Among Brazilians, the result couldn't be better. Fábio Silva, after two defeats, finally managed to show his game in the land of the rising sun and beat Yoshiki Takahashi by knockout in the second round. Rodrigo Damm, also maintained its good form and defeated Jorge masvidal by technical knockout in the second round. Márcio Pé de Pano submitted Mu Bae Choi with a rear naked choke in the first round. The only Brazilian stumble in the show came from Michael Costa who was submitted by Nick Thompson Check out the full results:
