2019 is coming to an end, but some moments marked the sport this season. Therefore, the SUPER FIGHTS prepared the list of the best fights of 2019 so that some images take much longer to leave our memories.

On our list we only have one athlete who appeared twice. The middleweight champion Israel adesanya was present in sixth position and, of course, at the top of the podium. Furthermore, the UFC 236 managed to score two fights in the top 3.
In addition to Adesnya, other prominent names on the list are: Kamaru Usman, Max Holloway, Jon Jones, Thiago Marreta, Anderson Silva, Colby covington, Dustin poirier and the Brazilian Vincent Luque.

8 – Kamaru Usman x Colby Covington at UFC 245 (December)
The year ended in style. In the last numbered event of 2019, Kamaru Usman e Colby covington dueled in the main fight of the UFC 245, December 13th. In the fight valid for the welterweight belt, the fighters dueled for more than 24 minutes with alternating control in each round. But with less than a minute to go, the Nigerian ended the fight with a beautiful knockout.
7 – Brad Riddell vs. Jaime Mullarkey at UFC 243 (October)
Less popular names on this list, Brad Riddell and Jaime Mullarkey had an insane fight in the UFC 243, in October. The fighters exchanged punches, even lying on the ground until the bell sounded and with several knockdowns in the dispute.
6 – Yoel Romero x Paulo Borrachinha at UFC 241 (August)
The Brazilian Paulo borrachinha and the Cuban Yoel romero they went head to head at UFC 241 in August. The winner of the dispute would guarantee a shot at the middleweight belt. With two knockout artists in action, the excitement lasted for 15 minutes until the athlete from Minas Gerais won the decision.
5 – Israel Adesanya x Anderson Silva at UFC 234 (February)
The year 2019 started in style. In February, at UFC 234, older fans were able to see, perhaps, the last great performance of Anderson Silva. Spider, even at 43 years old, had a duel on equal terms with Israel adesanya, who would become middleweight champion later this year. At the end of an extremely technical stand-up duel, the Nigerian prevailed in the decision.
4 – Jon Jones x Thiago Marreta at UFC 239, in July
For the first time in his career, Jon Jones came close to losing an MMA fight. At the UFC 239, in July, the Brazilian Thiago Marreta, who even with both injured knees, toughened up the fight for the champion. In the end, the North American prevailed in a tight split decision
3 – Dustin Poirier x Max Holloway at UFC 236 (April)
Dustin poirier e Max Holloway made the main fight of the UFC 236, in April, for the interim lightweight belt. For 25 minutes, the athletes fought an extremely technical stand-up duel, with Dustin winning the decision.

2 – Bryan Barbarena x Vicente Luque at UFC Phoenix (February)
Vincent Luque fought a battle against Bryan barberena at UFC Phoenix in February. The Brazilian, who was losing the fight according to the judges' scorecards, pulled out a series of knee strikes to knock out the North American in the final seconds. check out
1 – Israel Adesanya x Kelvin Gastelum at UFC 236 (April)
It was a war! Israel Adesnya and Kelvin Gastelum had the best fight of 2019 in UFC 236, in April. The middleweights fought for the interim division title for 25 minutes in insane fashion. Gastelum suffered five knockdowns, while Adesanya fell once and was almost knocked out with a high kick.
