The Dutch Alistair Overeem had his lip completely torn, on December 9th, when it was brutally knocked out by Jairzinho Rozenstruik No. UFC Washington. But what was impressive was the surprising recovery of the heavyweight.

Overeem underwent repair surgery and, just 12 days after the knockout, he is fully recovered. ESPN in the USA caught the fighter in a photo after leaving the hospital and the images are impressive. (see images below).
During the duel, Jairzinho combined jab and straight shot and with the force of the attack, Overeem's upper lip ended up being completely separated. The images are strong and can be seen below:
