“I would love to do the fight between him and (Tyron) Woodley. It would be a fun fight, but if he (Colby) actually broke his jaw, he won't be back anytime soon,” said the agent.

According to White, the American, however, may need some time away from the Octagon, as he had two major commitments in 2019.

“After a year like this, he’s going to have to rest, take care of himself for a while and see what he wants to do,” said Dana.

The loss to Usman could be difficult for Covington to digest. For months, the North American promoted the fight and, when it came to settling the score against a personal enemy, he ended up suffering a tough defeat with an unprecedented knockout at the end of the fifth round.

After the setback, Colby left the T-Mobile Arena, in Las Vegas, and, according to information from White, went straight to the hospital to be examined after a suspected fractured jaw due to a hard blow from the champion.
