The victory of Marlon moraes about José Aldo in one of the fights UFC 245, held last Saturday (14), in Las Vegas (USA), continues to create something to talk about. With victory over Manauara in a split decision by the judges, the former challenger for the bantamweight title (up to 61,2kg.) admitted that he could give the 'People's Champion' a rematch to resolve any doubts about the achievement. The statement was made on his official Instagram account.

The confrontation against Aldo marked Marlon's attempt to recover after the defeat suffered by Henry Cejudo, in June this year, when the athlete, together with the North American, competed for the division's vacant belt. At the time, the Brazilian was defeated by knockout and had his four-fight winning streak interrupted.
For Aldo, the battle against his compatriot also had great meaning. The fight in UFC 245 it represented Manauara's debut in the new category and a victory could place him as a challenger for the category title.
Even defeated, José can be seen fighting for the belt soon. For the president of Ultimate, Dana White, the result in favor of the Friburgo native was unfair and, according to his score, the Manauara man was the winner of the fight.
