With a good first round, the athlete from the Federal District got lost in the course of the duel and conceded the upset to the North American, who recovered from the tough defeat to Valentina Shevchenko and won in a unanimous decision by the judges.
The setback interrupted a streak of five consecutive defeats for Araújo, who was undefeated in Ultimate. Viviane is now temporarily stepping away from a fight for the flyweight belt (up to 56,7kg).
Eye, who challenged for the belt in June at UFC Uruguay, returns to the division's radar and awaits a new chance to face the champion.

Calmly, the athlete managed to overcome the situation and, from then on, put on a real show on the preliminary card. Acting at featherweight (up to 65,7kg), the newcomer scored a knockout over Daniel Teymur in the final seconds of the first round.
Revealed by 'Dana White's Contender Series', Chase showed that he is a promise to watch. The athlete prevented Daniel from achieving his second consecutive victory and achieved his first triumph for the company.

After two years without stepping into the Octagon due to injuries, Matt Brown had the opportunity to return to MMA on this Saturday's card. Against his compatriot Ben Saunders, the American suffered in the first round, but took advantage of his opponent's fatigue in the second stage, turned the fight around and delivered a hard knockout to his rival.
The triumph, in addition to marking Brown's return to the sport, also represented Ben's fourth consecutive defeat within the company. With the setback, Saunders finds himself in a complicated situation within the organization.
At 36 years old, Matt has reached the mark of 38 appearances in his professional career. The triumph increased the number of knockouts in 14 fights to 22.
