After reaching the mark of four fights in 2019 and leaving with significant victories, Jairizinho Rozenstruik definitely entered the Ultimate radar. With a successful year, the Surinamese can return to the octagon in 2020 to fight the biggest fight of his life. According to 'ESPN', the 'giant' has a verbal agreement to face Francis Ngannou in the main fight of ufc columbus, on March 28th. This would be the second time that the athlete headlines an organization card.

Even without being made official by the UFC, the clash between Jairzinho and Ngannou only proves the Surinamese's meteoric relevance to the company. The athlete, who debuted for the company in February 2019, has been collecting victims and proving to be a strong name for the division.
After accepting a last-minute commitment, sharing the octagon with the MMA icon, alistair overeem, and pull off an impressive knockout in the final seconds of the main fight of the UFC Washington, Rozenstruik showed that he arrived in Ultimate to stay. With the triumph over the Dutchman, the Surinamese jumped nine positions and, today, occupies sixth place in the category ranking.
The fight between the two should attract a high number of spectators, as they are two natural knockout artists. A convincing victory could put one of the heavyweights in line for a title shot right after the champion, Stipe Miocic, and the former owner of the title, Daniel Cormier, resolve their issues in a rematch, which could take place in the first half of next year.
The two athletes have already started promoting the clash on their social networks.
