Ben arrived in Ultimate on the back of four consecutive victories. Revealed by 'Dana White's Contender Series', the heavyweight still hasn't managed to repeat the performances that guaranteed his contract and, at first, ended up defeated by Hardy in his debut. The confrontation, however, had the result changed to 'no contest' after the North American was caught using an inhaler (asthma inhaler) between the second and third rounds – which is prohibited.

With the change in result, Sosoli remained undefeated in Ultimate and hopes, in the match against the Brazilian, to achieve his first positive result.

At 34 years old, Marcos has 23 fights in his professional MMA career. The fighter has 16 wins, six losses and one draw.
