The Nevada Athletic Commission announced the medical suspensions of athletes who participated in UFC-84, on May 24, in Las Vegas. The biggest suspensions were for Keith Jardine and Brazilian Wilson Gouveia. Check it out:
Sean Sherk: Suspended until July 7, no training until June 24 due to a laceration to his right cheek.
Keith Jardine: Suspended until November 21st with broken nose
Tito Ortiz: Suspended for six months or released by an orthopedist for wrist fractures.
Wilson Gouveia: Suspended for six months or until discharged due to a broken nose. The American Top Team fighter also suffered broken ribs.
Kazuhiro Nakamura: Suspended for six months or until cleared by a doctor due to a fractured nose
Jason Tan: Suspended for six months, for broken nose or until discharged by a doctor.
