Jones mocks Johnny Walker's defeat: 'I don't get impressed that quickly'

Champion sends message to Brazilian, who had stated that he would be able to defeat legend in a possible dispute

The Light Heavyweight Champion (up to 93kg.), Jon Jones sent your message to the Brazilian Johnny Walker. Challenged by the Tupiniquim, the North American joked about Walker's defeat to Corey anderson No. UFC 244, held last Saturday (2). 'Bones' stated that he was not surprised by the Brazilian's talent and that the setback was predictable. The statement was made on his Twitter account.

Jones also responded to a fan who commented on Walker's defeat, who had been challenging the American after a good trajectory within Ultimate. The fan also joked about the fact that Johnny lost to Anderson.

“This is the guy who claimed he would beat you,” wrote the fan, which was immediately responded to by 'Bones'. “I'm not easily impressed. I've been in this sport for a long time. I saw people arrive and leave”, published the legend.

Before stepping into the octagon this Saturday, Walker had been attracting the attention of MMA enthusiasts and Ultimate directors. The athlete had performed three times since signing his professional contract with the company.

In all the duels, Johnny had won by knockout and, adding up the time he spent inside the octagon, it didn't reach four minutes.

With his unquestionable performances, it didn't take long for the Brazilian to fall into the public's favor, but, after the defeat, history seems to be taking a different direction. The duel against Anderson could guarantee Walker an immediate ticket to face Jon Jones, however the setback made the fighter return to the back of the line.

At 27 years old, today, Johnny has 17 victories and four negative results in his career. The fighter from Belford Roxo (RJ) occupies 11th place in the category ranking.
