With 10 knockout victories in his career, Cigano is betting on the strength of his fists to take down the American. In the last press conference to promote the duel, the Brazilian stated that he wants to knock out Mir.
“I believe I can knock out anyone and I will do that. I don't care if he's better on the ground or not. In MMA you never know what could happen, but my goal is to get another knockout in the Octagon,” said Cigano.

I really believe in Cigano's abilities (I'm also Brazilian. I would never support a North American in a confrontation with a Brazilian). Not just for that reason. Cigano is capable of winning.
Cigano is aggressive, combative (he has a lot of race) and a good athlete.
Let us respect your opponent (Mir).
