It felt like a replay! Brazilian João Paulo Rodrigues traveled to Europe and was brutally knocked out twice in the space of just 13 days. In his first match, on September 14th, he fell at the Oktagon 14 event, in Slovakia. Less than two weeks later, the Brazilian athlete took the stage at Donbass 2, held in Ukraine.
At Oktagon 14, João Paulo, who has a professional history of more than 50 fights in his career, faced Slovakian Ludovít Klein. The setback came with a brutal head kick in the third round (see below).

Without the proper recovery period – the Athletic Commissions in the USA recommend a minimum layoff of 45 days after a knockout -, the Brazilian went to competitions at Donbass 2. And João Paulo also fell again in the third round to Roman Ogulchanskiy. In the fight, already showing a lot of fatigue, the Brazilian athlete had very slow movements when a round kick from the Ukrainian hit his head (see below).
