The astral hell of Alex Cowboy to be continued. The Brazilian, who arrived at UFC Copenhagen, this Saturday (28), with two consecutive defeats, and having faced problems with the Brazilian justice system, in May, failed to recover at the event in Denmark. The Brazilian even started the duel well against Nicholas Dalby. But, with the support of the fans and a disputed decision by the central referee in the third round, the Dane turned the match around and won the unanimous decision of the judges (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)

Known for his versatile strikes, Cowboy started the fight well. The Brazilian used good movement, even with capoeira swagger, and landed the best blows. Dalby felt the rhythm and tried to take him down, but Alex made a good save and he was the one who took down the Dane. On top, the athlete from Três Rios landed good punches, before Dalby reversed the position, but with no time to work.
In the break before the second round, Cowboy was already showing some fatigue. Dalby felt the moment and put in a good volume of strikes. The Dane ended a good sequence with a kick to the belt, but the Brazilian defended it and looked for a takedown. However, with a beautiful spin, Nicolas reversed his attack during the fall and came out on top. In an advantageous position, the home owner worked with several punches from above and scored points. The Brazilian only managed to get up in the final seconds, when he put him down, but he struggled with a choke and ended up on bottom. He attempted an illegal pedal stroke on Dalby, and the referee stopped the duel.
With the fight tied, with each fighter winning a round, the third round would be responsible for defining the winner. Even more tired, Cowboy withstood the Dane's initial momentum and managed a good takedown in the clinch. The Brazilian stabilized his position on top and added points. But, in a strange way and in response to the boos of the crowd, the central referee moved the athletes back to the center of the Octagon. Alex didn't like the decision and gestured against the action. The Tupiniquim athlete still took down Dalby once again, however, he was hasty when trying to attack an armbar. The home owner defended his position, reversed his advantage on the ground in the final minute and fired several shots over the top.
The aggressiveness of Nicholas Dalby in the final moments they guaranteed him victory in the unanimous decision of the judges (29-28, 29-28, 29-28).
