Ortega, who hasn't fought since being beaten by Max Holloway in a knockout that took place in December last year, in the fight that represented the main fight of UFC 231, valid for the division's belt, he returns to the octagon in search of returning to the status of challenger. With only one defeat in his career, which occurred precisely in his last match, the North American accepted the challenge of traveling to his rival's territory to try to show activity in Ultimate and get back on the path to victory.

The North American currently has 15 professional fights and has 14 triumphs.

O Korean zombie lives a different situation than the next opponent. After returning to Ultimate in November last year, after moving away from mixed martial arts to fulfill his mandatory military commitment to his country, Chan had as his opponent the Mexican Yair Rodriguez. Experienced, Sung dominated the fight, held in the United States, until, in the final second of the last round, he ended up being surprised by a surprise elbow and ended up knocked out.

After the setback for Rodriguez, Jung had the opportunity for his redemption. The athlete was selected to face Renato Moicano, which was coming off a defeat to José Aldo, in a fight held in February this year, at UFC Fortaleza, but he was in a good position in the division. As an underdog, Zumbi managed to turn doubt into reality and ended up delivering a devastating knockout to Moicano just 58 seconds into the fight.

Chan, at 32 years old, has 20 fights, with 15 wins and five losses.

Currently, Ortega is second in the category ranking, while the Korean is in sixth. The victory could give one of the athletes the opportunity to compete for the division title, which currently belongs to Max Holloway and which, however, is committed to facing Alexander Volkanovsky No. UFC 245, in December.
