the miner Glover Teixeira achieved an important result in the UFC Vancouver, held this Saturday (14), in Canada. The athlete went up to the octagon to face Nikita Krylov and ended up giving the audience an extremely technical and balanced fight. After three well-fought rounds, two judges awarded the victory to the Brazilian, resulting in the athlete's victory.

With the dream of competing again for the light heavyweight belt (up to 93kg), which the athlete from Sobrália (MG) tried to win in 2014, the fighter arrived in Canada to seek his third consecutive victory.
During the duel, Teixeira showed the same courage as always and, as on other occasions, managed to get out of situations that, for many, would be irreversible. The fight also marked the first time that Krylov was taken to the end of the fight for the judges' decision. Previously, he either knocked him out, was knocked out, submitted him or was submitted.
The Brazilian's triumph marked the 30th achievement of the Minas Gerais native's career, which has seven setbacks.
After the victory, Glover asked to play in UFC Sao Paulo, which takes place in two months, in the capital of São Paulo.
The fight
The athletes started the fight by risking some blows, after a low kick from Krylov, Glover managed to hold his opponent's legs and take the opponent to the ground. With less than two minutes, the Brazilian was already bleeding from his face, but he was in a better position in the fight. On the ground, the miner managed to get to Nikita's back and started looking for the choke. When defending himself from the position, the Brazilian threw punches at his opponent's head to look for an opening, however, the Ukrainian managed to reverse the position and ended up turning in mount over the athlete from Sobrália. Glover then exploded, got out of position, but ended up leaving his neck for a well-adjusted guillotine choke. Teixeira used his experience to get out and take the fight to the top. During exchanges, rivals threw blows and did not avoid contact. The chances of victory were even, but the round was ended.
In the second stage, the Brazilian continued trying to take the fight to the ground. Even with the fixed plan, the Brazilian still connected good blows at short range, always putting the Pole in danger. Krylov, however, was also frightening when he delivered his blows. A left cross from Teixeira rocked Nikita, who had to run to avoid being hit in sequence by the Minas Gerais native. Whenever he found an opportunity, Glover tried to hold his opponent's legs to try to take him to the ground, but Nikita defended well. The Brazilian's blows were dangerously in Krylov's face, but Nikita remained dangerous on the counterattack. In the final minute, the Ukrainian easily managed a takedown of the Sobrália fighter, who was already showing signs of fatigue. The time for the assault has come to an end.
Glover, in the last round, took advantage of a failed takedown attempt by the Ukrainian and almost managed to apply a guillotine, but Nikita showed calm and experience to get out of the position. The Brazilian still remained on top and almost got an armbar, but again Krylove defended himself and managed to get up. Without the same energy, now, it was the Ukrainian who tried to take the fight to the ground. The Sobralian tried another guillotine choke, but there was no longer enough strength to put pressure on his opponent's neck. On top, Teixeira tried to strike his opponent, but there was no more time.
