Amanda nunes became UFC bantamweight champion (up to 61,2kg) in 2016, when she submitted the North American Miesha Tate, in the main fight of UFC 200. Since then, there have been four belt defenses; two, including, against the former champions, Ronda Rousey e Holly holm.

As if her success among bantamweights wasn't enough, the Bahian wanted to take a risk in the featherweight division (up to 65,7kg.), which, at the time (2018), was dominated by the feared Chris Cyborg. In December, however, the 'Lione' ventured into the top category and shocked the world by delivering a devastating knockout to her compatriot, thus becoming the first woman to hold two titles in two consecutive divisions in Ultimate.

Nunes' last defeat came in September 2014, almost five years ago. On that occasion, the Brazilian was beaten by knockout against Zingano cat. After the setback, Amanda, 31, didn't know what it was like to be defeated.
