With the result, Karol reached his 12th victory as a professional in 15 fights. On the other hand, Lara experienced her first setback as a professional in seven appearances.

Still on the preliminary card, Brazil had another representative. Thiago Moses was dominated by Russian Damir Ismagulov and lost by unanimous decision (30-27 30-26 30-27)

Karol Rosa beats Lara Procópio

Lara started the fight by taking the initiative, working with low kicks and hand strikes. Karol's nose was quickly marked, but she landed a good right that shook her opponent.
