The owner of an Irish bar based in the United States decided to take action in repudiation of the aggression of Conor McGregor to an elderly man who refused to try a dose of his whiskey, in Dublin, Ireland. Born in Ireland, the owner of the establishment gathered all the bottles of the brand boasted by the 'Notório' and discarded them in the toilet. The action was published on a social network and went viral.

“Due to the recent cowardly and appalling behavior of so-called Fighting Irishman ConorMcGregor, the 'Salty Shamrock Irish Pub' will no longer carry his product, nor associate its business with his (Conor) name. Let's dispose of your whiskey. I challenge all Irish pub owners to do the same,” the owner wrote.

In total, approximately six liters of the drink were flushed down the toilet. A bottle, in North American territory, costs around US$25 (around R$95). In this way, the owner suffered a loss of around US150 (around R$570).

Understand the case

Almost a week ago, a video published on the internet took over the MMA world. In him, Conor McGregor appears entering a bar, serving some drinks and then attacking a man, who refused to accept the drink. The man who was cowardly punched did not react, while the Irishman was restrained by people present at the scene. Conor did not comment on the incident.

PUBLICITY:

McGregor was once considered the biggest name in the UFC, but has lost part of his prestige after long periods of inactivity and confusion created outside of mixed martial arts. The athlete hasn't fought since October last year, when he was defeated by Khabib Nurmagomedov in the fight for the lightweight title (up to 70,3kg.).
