Known as 'Malvado', the middleweight (up to 83,9kg.) Antônio Trocoli managed to get where many MMA athletes want to go. The Bahian, after a good performance on the 'Contender Series', managed to sign a contract with the UFC and, in addition, be praised by Dana White. However, news shook the fighter's situation. Antônio was caught in an anti-doping test which showed that the Brazilian had ingested a prohibited substance (nandrolone – anabolic steroid). The information was released by 'Combate', confirmed and commented by Trocoli's team.

“We are starting to learn how this process of testing supplements works to find out where this adulteration occurred. The UFC is helping in the process so that the situation clears up soon and he can make his debut as soon as possible, said 'Malvado's manager, Lucas Lutkus.

The Brazilian's last appearance on the reality show took place on the 9th. On that occasion, the athlete faced the Norwegian, then undefeated in his career, Kenneth Bergh, and managed to win by submission after less than four minutes of combat. After the triumph, the fighter born in Salvador was highly praised by Ultimate's president, Dana White.

“I'll just say this: I like everything about this guy (Antônio). He is good physically, he has personality. But if you watch the fight, when he breaks his foot, he feels the pain, but he doesn't show it. He doesn't fall, he keeps fighting, going up, keeps destroying. I liked everything about this guy”, said the UFC president.
