The Ultimate board, however, had already signaled that the next challenger for the category title would be the winner of the confrontation between Joseph Benavidez e Jussier formiga, held at the end of June. On that occasion, the North American won the fight and, in addition to beating the Brazilian, secured first place in the division's rankings, behind only the belt holder.

As number one contender, Benavidez, however, will have to wait for the recovery of Henry, who underwent surgery to correct a shoulder injury suffered in his last fight, when he faced Marlon moraes in his second belt defense. Cejudo's fight, whether against Joseph or Figueiredo, may only happen next year.
