Dana speculates Amanda's next fight after victory over Holm: 'We'll try Cyborg'

President places Brazilian at the level of Anderson Silva, Georges St. Pierre and Jon Jones and wants to repeat clash between 'Lioness' and former featherweight champion

The sky seems to be the limit for Amanda nunes. After defending his bantamweight belt (up to 61,2 kg.) for the fourth consecutive time, in UFC 239, this Saturday (6) and hold the featherweight title (up to 65,7kg.) the Ultimate leader stated that he wants to give the 'Lionea' a new fight against Chris Cyborg, whom he defeated in December last year. The statement was made at a press conference after this weekend's event.

“She wants a new fight against (Cris) Cyborg. So let's work to make it happen. If Cyborg doesn't accept it, there will be someone else. She (Amanda) has two belts and she will defend both. She’s healthy,” White said.

Dana was asked about what remains for the Brazilian to achieve, as she has defeated practically all possible opponents in the bantamweight division. Regarding the Brazilian's spectacular phase, White was full of praise for the Bahian and placed her at the level of great stars in the history of MMA.

“What does this remind you of? Anderson Silva, Georges St Pierre, Jon Jones. She is at their level now”, declared the president of the organization, comparing the Bahian woman to great names in mixed martial arts who made history in the sport.

Amanda has been fighting not only inside the Octagon, but also outside of it. The athlete has, with each fight, tried to prove that she is the best female MMA athlete of all time. The victory over Holly served to endorse the 'Lionea's' technical ability to defeat opponents with positive records within the sport.

The Bahian's last defeat happened almost five years ago, when she was surprised by the North American Zingano cat, in November 2014, in a knockout setback. Since then, the athlete from Pojuca (BA) has performed on nine occasions, eliminating all the opponents with whom she has shared the Octagon.

In his professional mixed martial arts career, Nunes, 31 years old, achieved his 18th victory in his career after this Saturday, which has four defeats.
