Ben Rothwell was considered a dark horse in the fight against Brendan Schaub, and right at the beginning of the fight the North American veteran suffered harsh punishment from his opponent. But in a spectacular recovery, Ben connected with a right cross and knocked Schaub out. And in addition to the big turnaround, Rothwell has one more reason to celebrate. He was awarded the best knockout bonus at UFC 145 and received an extra prize of US$65.

In addition to Ben Rothwell, the featherweights Mark hominick and Eddie Yagin won the fight of the night bonus. The best finish went to Travis Browne, who beat DaMarques Johnson with a hand triangle on the preliminary card and pocketed the same amount.
