Dana White decided not to wait for the outcome of Overeem's trial and made a decision on Friday night (early Saturday morning in Brazil). On his Twitter, the UFC president informed that Frank mir will take Overeem's place in the fight that will take place on May 26th.

Mir, who comes from three consecutive victories, would face Cain Velazquez at the same event. Velasquez's new opponent has not yet been announced.
At UFC 146 Cigano will have a second chance to avenge his mentor. He knocked out Velasquez, who had won Rodrigo Minotauro at UFC 110. Frank mir he beat Minotauro twice, becoming the first to knock out and the first to submit the Brazilian.
