UFC president Dana White stated that there are no hard feelings regarding the rejection of Brock Lesnar to the proposal to return to MMA. The athlete was challenged by the current heavyweight champion (up to 120,2 kg), however, there was no agreement. In a recent interview with 'ESPN', White said he understood and agreed with the decision of the North American 'giant'.

“I wasn't angry at all. Brock had a good time here (UFC). It was fun. Look, to participate in this business (MMA), you must be 100% involved. You have to be in. That wasn't where his head was. He made the right decision,” said Dana.

The Ultimate management contacted Lesnar in an attempt to fulfill a wish Daniel Cormier. In July 2018, after crashing Stipe Miocic for the heavyweight title, still in the Octagon, DC challenged the WWE star to a fight. Brock was present in the arena, climbed onto the platform and even pushed Daniel.

It seemed that sooner or later the 'superfight' would happen. However, the UFC and Lesnar were unable to reach a satisfactory value for both parties and the negotiations ended.

Despite some technical deficiencies, Lesnar was once considered one of the biggest names in the company. Between 2008 and 2010, the athlete maintained significant regularity in the sport, which earned him a shot at the heavyweight title, which he won after his victory over the legendary Randy Couture, at UFC 91.

Brock lost his title in October 2010 when he was dominated by Cain Velazquez. After the setback, the athlete was no longer able to win for the organization. There were two fights, one defeat and one unsuccessful duel.

The North American is currently 41 years old and dedicates his life to a successful career in WWE (wrestling).
