Oveerem promises to win "fights" against the Athletic Commission and junior gypsy
The heavy weight alistair overeem Finally broke the silence! The fighter, who had not given interviews since being caught taking a doping test earlier this month, spoke for the first time about the case to the Dutch website “El Octógono”.

Overeem, who will be judged by the Athletic Commission next Tuesday (24), commented on the battle he hopes to fight in court and compared the hearing to a fight.

“April 24th will be the biggest fight of my life, and May 26th will be an even bigger fight”, said the fighter, referring to the date of the duel against junior gypsy, scheduled for May. “I have two big fights ahead of me, I’m confident. I’m going to knock them out”, added Alistair.

To date, Overeem remains confirmed as the first challenger for the junior gypsy. The fight is still confirmed as the main attraction of UFC 146, scheduled to take place on May 26, in Las Vegas. If the Dutchman is suspended for failing the surprise anti-doping test, carried out during the event's press conference, Ultimate will announce a replacement for Alistair.
