Brazilian Antonio 'Shoe Face' will have the chance to bounce back from their last defeat to Ian Heinisch took place last month at UFC Rochester. According to the website 'Combate', the athlete reached a verbal agreement to face the Jamaican Uriah Hall, currently 14th in the middleweight rankings (up to 83,9kg.). 'Shoe Face' was out of the octagons for more than a year after dealing with injuries that prevented the athlete from remaining active within the organization. Before his return in May, the native of Paraíba was on a great winning streak in the UFC. The fighter won five consecutive victories, but the good phase was interrupted after his game was completely canceled by Ian Heinisch in the combat held last month.

His likely opponent, Hall, has been recovering from a bad phase in his career. Before his last duel, in which he defeated the American Bevon Lewis by knockout, at UFC 232, in December 2018, the athlete had four defeats in his last five engagements. His last setback, in fact, happened in the meeting with the Brazilian Paulo 'Borrachinha', in July last year.

The two athletes are former TUF (The Ultimate Fighter) finalists. Shoe Face competed in the third edition of the reality show, which took place in Brazil. On that occasion, the Paraíba native defeated Vitor miranda in a unanimous decision by the judges, in 2014.

Uriah, in turn, despite reaching the final of the 17th edition of the program (in the North American edition), was defeated by the former challenger for the category's interim title, Kelvin Gastelum. After the fight, the judges chose the North American as the winner of the duel in a split decision.

At 29 years old, Antônio has 13 fights in his professional MMA record. In his appearances, he won 10 victories, lost twice and had one match without result.

Five years older than the Brazilian, at 34, Uriah has already played on 21 occasions, winning 13 times and losing on eight.
