The month of May was historic for Jessica Stacker. The Brazilian won the Ultimate strawweight belt (up to 56.7 kg.), on the 11th, in Rio de Janeiro, but the year ends with a difficult moment. The champion and her wife, Fernanda, suffered a robbery in Niterói, a district of Rio de Janeiro.

Through a Facebook post, Fernanda reported the fact. She and Jéssica were in the car, a gray Honda HRV, with Belo Horizonte license plates, which was stolen at gunpoint. The thieves also revealed their cell phones. Until the publication of this note, the vehicle had not yet been found. Fernanda also said that, despite the scare, they are fine.

Jessica Stacker, 28 years old, marked his name in history in May. She defeated the champion Rose namajunas, in the main fight of the UFC 237, held on May 11th. The Paraná native became the first Brazilian to win the Ultimate belt in her country.
