“I would defeat him (Max Holloway). This is a fact. Just as I was sure I would defeat Michael chandler, I'm sure I would beat Max Hollowaway. To me, he's the same Max who fought against Conor McGregor and lost (in 2013). To me, he's the same guy. Not much has changed,” commented Pitbull.

The athlete, however, also tried to expose the qualities of Holloway, who he considers an excellent boxer, having even defeated the Brazilian José Aldo by knockout on two occasions, both in 2017 for the featherweight title.

“However, he is very versatile. He is very tall and uses his distance well, in addition to having sharp boxing. Therefore, other fighters cannot compare to him technically. He knocked out Aldo twice with pure boxing. Speaking as a boxer, he managed to paralyze Aldo like that”, concluded Patrício.

Taking into account that both athletes are currently extremely important fighters for their respective companies, it is very difficult for there to be a meeting between the champions anytime soon.

Currently, Pitbull is 31 years old. In his last clash, on the 11th, he managed to beat the North American Michael chandler, becoming Bellator's lightweight champion (up to 70.3kg) and winning his second belt with the company.

Holloway, 27, like Patrício, had the opportunity to win his second belt, however, with the UFC. The Hawaiian, however, succumbed to the North American Dustin poirier and missed the chance to win the interim lightweight belt. The athlete then retained the featherweight title, won over José AldoIn 2017.
